Privacy Policy — LoupAI

LoupAI ("the App") is a video/clip review and annotation tool published by the developer account "StellAIr" (package name digital.frequentflaier.loupai). This policy explains what data the App handles.

No account or sign-up

LoupAI does not require creating an account, and does not collect your name, email address, or any other personal identifiers to use the App.

What the App stores on your device

The App saves the following data locally on your device, using standard browser/WebView storage:

• Clip annotations you create — timestamp, a drawn region (bounding box), a short defect label, and an optional text comment you type.
• Your configured backend server address (a URL you enter yourself, see below).
• Your configured "GPU host" address, if you use the optional remote-connection wizard — the network address of a computer you personally own and choose to connect to.

None of this local data is shared with the developer or any third party unless you explicitly configure a backend URL as described below.

Data sent to a server you control

If you set a "Backend URL" in the App's Settings panel, your saved annotations are sent to that address so you can retrieve them elsewhere. By default this points at localhost and only works if you are running your own backend service — LoupAI does not operate a central server that receives this data. You are in control of where, if anywhere, this data is sent.

Optional remote GPU connection

LoupAI includes an optional setup wizard to connect the App to a computer you own over a private network (Tailscale). This feature only ever contacts a device you configure yourself and never sends data to the developer.

Advertising

LoupAI may display advertisements served through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), IP address, and general usage data to serve and measure ads, and to help prevent fraud and abuse. This processing is governed by Google's own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy and their ad-specific terms at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Where required by applicable law, the App will request your consent before showing personalized ads.

Children's privacy

LoupAI is not directed at children and is not intended for use by children under 13.

Data deletion

Because annotation data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by clearing the App's data/storage in your device's Settings, or by uninstalling the App.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same address with a new "Last updated" date.
